Research Special Interest Group (SIG)
The Research Special Interest Group (SIG) has the following goals:
- Support an international, multi-site, collaborative research project related to adherence in the transplant population
- Complete development of nursing transplant scope and standards of practice
- Enhance communication among those interested in research through use of the member list and newsletter
- Develop additional research guides on pertinent research topics for ITNS members
- Continue to explore links with the Education and Advanced Practice SIGs to enhance evidenced-based practice
- Conduct Research Workshop at the 2009 ITNS Annual Symposium
- Explore adoption of evidence scoring guidelines for all ITNS presentations
- Continue to award ITNS research grants
