Manager / Administrator SIG
Mission Statement:
The Transplant Administrator and Management special interest group (SIG) will impact the quality of care delivered to solid organ transplant patients, live donors, and families through sharing of information, data, experience, and outcomes. Through this collaboration standards of nursing will be established.
Vision:
Establish an avenue for communication by Transplant Administrators and Managers around the globe for collaboration.
Goals:
- Set Standards of Care for nursing practice related to care pathways and / or evidence based practice
- Make recommendations on optimal nursing hours of care for transplant patients and live donors based on best practice and outcomes
- Develop a support of network for leaders with impact on healthcare reform
- Assist peers with preparation for surveys with regulatory agencies
- Promote certification
