Communications Committee

To relay pertinent and necessary information to our ITNS membership in a timely and appropriate manner.

Mission Statement:
Communication is a process by which we assign and convey meaning in an attempt to create shared understanding. This process requires a vast repertoire of skills in intrapersonal and interpersonal processing, listening, observing, speaking, questioning, analyzing, and evaluating.  It is through communication that collaboration and cooperation occur.

Goals of Communication Committee:

• Collaboration with educational committee, Newsletter director, and web-site director.
• Continue to post local and National ITNS events on web-site.
• Send out e-blast to membership reminding them of educational offerings.
• Recruit Newsletter authors.
• Begin a journal club.
